Carbon Offset Scheme
Everyday activities such as driving and heating our homes all create carbon dioxide (CO2) which causes climate change and flights are no exception.
As a specialist tour operator with an on-going commitment to Sustainable tourism, we offer our customers the chance to offset some of the environmental damage aircraft emissions cause. We are committed to working with the Tourism Industry Carbon Offset Service (TICOS) who use offset funds to develop projects that make both carbon savings and have a wider sustainable development benefit. In partnership, TICOS and Serenity Holidays have started two exclusive projects in The Gambia, Community Tree Planting and Mayan Turbo Stoves.
Although we are currently only collecting monies for projects in The Gambia, we are constantly researching potential projects in other destinations for future initiatives.
