A new flight service has just been announced operating between Manchester and Boa Vista in the Cape Verde Islands. The flight will operate on Mondays starting in May and will make the increasingly popular island of Boa Vista much more accessible to holidaymakers from the North West.
Boa Vista has an amazing 55 kilometres of beach and is known for its stunning sand dunes. It is also a great place for wildlife: thought to be one of the world’s most important loggerhead turtle nesting sites, and the islet of Sal Rei is a feeding ground for humpback whales.
Flight times are very convenient with a departure time of 9am, arriving on Boa Vista at 12.55; the return flight departs at 13.55, arriving back into Manchester at 21.45. The flight will be operated by Thomson Airways and is on sale now through The Cape Verde Experience.
