The Gambia Celebrates Independence Day

On 18th February The Gambia will celebrate its 44th Independence Day. The Gambia gained independence from Britain in 1965 after 300 years of colonial rule. The day is a national holiday in The Gambia and across the world Gambians will be marking the occasion.
