Olbia Airport To Close During G8 Summit

02 April 2009

Olbia Airport, Sardinia will close for four days during the G8 Summit which is being held on the island in July. The airport will be closed from Tuesday 7th July until Friday 10th July 2009 with all flights being diverted to either Alghero or Cagliari.

Sardinian Places will make alternative arrangements for any guests collecting or dropping off hire cars during this period but anyone travelling who would like to discuss the situation should telephone Sardinian Places on 0845 330 2049 or email holidays@sardinianplaces.co.uk
