Cape Verde featured on last week’s Channel 4 programme A Place in The Sun, Home or Away and the island of Santiago managed to win over the couple looking for a retirement home. The programme showcases two destinations, one in the UK and one overseas, being considered as a location to purchase a home. Last week the two featured destinations were Santiago in Cape Verde and Snowdonia, Wales and Santiago came out on top.
