2 Million Dalasi For Young Entrepreneurs

Young entrepreneurs in The Gambia have a new source of finance available from next month to help them set up in business. The Gambia’s National Enterprise Development Initiative (NEDI) has 2,342,240 dalasi available to assist forty three young vendors in establishing a shop or meat selling business.

Each of the successful applicants will receive a loan of D50,000 with an interest rate of 7% over two years. Training in managing finances will also be given.
