Senegal Draw With China

10 September 2009

Senegal drew with China in last night’s international football friendly in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province in Northeast China. Despite a number of chances by the Chinese team, the game ended goalless. Although disappointing, the Senegalese team can take some pride in the fact that they had to play without six of their starting line-up due a problem with visas.

Senegal’s interim coach Amsatta Fall said: “China's pace was impressive and we had to defend well today, but we didn't do well in counter-attack. Our crosses were too inaccurate."
