Senegal Lose 2-0 to South Korea

15 October 2009

Senegal lost 2-0 in last night’s football friendly against South Korea. Although South Korea were in control from the start they found it difficult to get past Senegalese goalkeeper Chieckh Tidiane Ndiaye, but just before half-time new Celtic signing Ki Sung-yong scored the opening goal. The second goal came ten minutes from time and was scored by Oh Beom-seok.

Senegal failed to qualify for the 2010 World Cup and are currently rebuilding their squad after also failing to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations.
