Senegalese Musician Playing Bridport

Senegalese musician Sadio Cissokho is playing at Bridport Arts Centre on Wednesday 27th October. Sadio and his band will be performing traditional West African instruments but with a modern twist, creating music with big beats. Sadio grew up in Casamance in southern Senegal and was taught the kora, a 21 string harp like instrument, by his father. Sadio and his band usually play in the clubs of Dakar, keeping dancers on their feet until the early hours.
