Turtle Conservation Jobs

28 October 2010

If you are interested in wildlife conservation then there are some great voluntary positions currently being advertised on the islands of Cape Verde – and for some of the jobs there is even the chance for the payment of a living allowance. All of the roles are involved with the conservation of loggerhead turtles on the islands, which is the world’s third most important nesting site for these endangered creatures.

SOS Tartarugas began operation in 2008 and works to deter illegal hunting and protect the nesting sites. You can find out more about the jobs and the work at www.turtleconservationjobs.blogspot.com
