More than 50 golfers from the UK, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Ghana, Nigeria and Sweden competed in The Gambia Open & Pro-Am Tournament which was held between 8th & 13th December at the Fajara Golf Course.
The winner of the tournament, professional Gambian Fakebba Drammeh, received 300,000 Dalasi whilst the runners up, Sierra Leoneans Jerry Dumbuya and Robet Williams received D35,000 each.
The Gambia Golf Association (GGA) also awarded prizes for amateur men, ladies, teams, nearest the pin and longest drive.
