Children’s book raises money for schools in The Gambia
08 March 2011
Author Neil Griffiths marked last week’s World Book Day by reading his new children’s book ‘Fatou Fetch The Water’ to a group of pupils at Swindon Library. The book is about a girl in The Gambia and at least 10% of the money from book sales will be donated to schools in The Gambia and to a charity run by Neil – Starfish Malaria Project which provides malaria nets to families in The Gambia.
Fatou Fetch The Water has been nominated for a Dundee picture book prize. Order a copy online at http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=fatou+fetch+the+water&tag=mh0a9-21&index=stripbooks&hvadid=24180729&ref=pd_sl_72etej2gwq_e
