Cape Verde

The Cape Verde Islands actually enjoy a steady year round temperature that hovers in the high 20s, but it's between the months of October and April that the destination really comes into its own. There are 9 or 10 hours of glorious sunshine each and every day and the resort areas are buzzing with life. And because the flight times are relatively short (just under 6 hours for Sal) you can be by the pool on the same day as you fly. Quite the perfect place to escape the winter gloom...

Senegal

Although Senegal enjoys a balmy year round temperature it is the winter months in Europe that sees the greatest influx of visitors, all seeking an escape from the gloom and to laze beneath the soothing winter sun... Temperatures between the months of November and April are anywhere between 27-32 degrees centigrade and as there is virtually no rain you can be certain of topping up your tan - be it on the beach or around the hotel pool.
