We're proud to introduce our knowledgeable sales team, who between them offer a wealth of information across all of Serenity's six destinations.
As a destination expert to each of our six holiday brands, we pride ourselves on our ever-improving knowledge and expertise. The Gambia, Cape Verde, Goa, Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily were all chosen due to our love for these countries, and over the years we've spent a lot of time learning all there is to know about each of these eclectic destinations. We've done this so that when you book with us, you're receiving an honest and reliable service which meets (and hopefully exceeds) your expectations.
Introducing the team
Our sales team are at the very heart of our customer service approach, each having visited our destinations so they can not only give you accurate and informative information, but also personal opinions, should you wish. So without further delay, here's our team of Serenity experts...
Tony, Customer Manager
"I started as the reservations manager in 2002 with a small team of 10 staff, before being made responsible for all the customer facing departments a few years later. I like the dynamic nature of the travel industry and the fact that you never know what may happen when you come to work each morning!"
Claire, Team Leader
"Sardinia is particular favourite of our destinations for me, not only for the stunning beaches. We stayed at Agriturismo Tenuta Pilastru a few years ago and the food was out of this world. We paid a small supplement to upgrade to their seven-course meal of locally-sourced produce. There really was a need for elasticated waist trousers that night!"
Kerry, Sales Consultant
"I can honestly say, hand on heart, that I love all of our destinations. The Gambia especially holds a special place in my heart as I've been selling it for so long - I've been there 15 times and love the character, empty beaches & hot, hot, hot weather! Every agent I've accompanied there over the years has always had a really great time."
Anna, Sales Consultant
"I am very lucky to work with such a friendly sales team here at Serenity. We all work very hard in the office, but are never without a cup of tea and biscuits! We are all very fortunate to visit all the destinations we sell, which makes our job so much easier! I have had many experiences during my travels, but one of my most memorable trips was to the Cape Verde Islands."
Lydia, Sales Consultant
"Having previously worked for a huge chain travel agent, I appreciate and enjoy working for an independent company so much more. There's never a dull moment in the office and quite often a client will comment on how happy we all sound here. I love that I can speak about all of our destinations with first-hand experience and I genuinely have a real passion for them."
Debbie, Sales Consultant
"I have a real passion for travel and have been lucky enough to have travelled to some amazing places. I really enjoy organising other peoples holidays and have worked in the travel industry since 1990. My favourite destination has to be Corsica, we stayed in a little village called Algajola which is a small and very pretty little seaside village on the north coast of the island ."
Alison, Sales Consultant
"The Gambia is probably my favourite of all our destinations, although it is hard to pick just one. You cannot fail to relax, the weather is beautiful and my favourite restaurant is Calypso at the Cape in Cape Point. The fresh fish dishes are out of this world. I would also recommend having a meal at Ngala Lodge, whether you are staying there or not."
Rosie, Sales Consultant
"My highlight was staying at Ngala Lodge during a recent trip to The Gambia. I loved the friendly culture and good vibes, as well as the fantastic food served at the lodge. The beaches were beautiful too and I loved that African culture was at the fore of my experience. There's so much to see and I love helping customers plan their itineraries."
Rebecca, Sales Consultant
"I love Gambian cuisine and there's no better place to sample it than at the restaurant at Ngala Lodge. I would recommend going to The Gambia for a perfect winter sun getaway, only six hours away. Wine and dine for the evening at Ngala Lodge, and during the day, explore the beautiful scenery and discover your very own haven. "
Becky, Sales Consultant
"Since joining the company in 2015, I have had some wonderful experiences visiting and selling our various destinations. I really loved Sardinia. There's something about the island and exploring its different characteristics which was so rewarding. I also loved the attractions in Sicily, including Mount Etna and the Greek Theatre at Taormina."
